Autonomous vehicles, concepts and partnerships flourished at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas:

Companies also focused on the in-car experience, for the day when drivers have nothing left to do behind the wheel. BMW used mixed-reality to let visitors share in its vision of a 'living space' on wheels, while Audi presented a car transformed into a mobile amusement park. Warner Bros and Intel even demonstrated a Batman entertainment experience. One thing's for sure: the driverless future's unlikely to be boring.
